prEN 15287-1 "Chimneys - Design, installation and commissioning of chimneys - Part 1 Chimneys for non roomsealed heating appliances" has been approved (Formal vote) with the Italian comments.
Vitreous/porcelain enamel is now recognised as a suitable coating for connecting flue pipe.
Enamelled connecting flue pipes are really made for last longer than other coatings; they resist to corrosion by the acidic condensation of smoke and fumes.
